Can you guess how many people fail the permit test on their first visit to the DMV? What if we told you that it is approximately half of all learners permit applicants? That's right, out of every ten people who visit the DMV to take the drivers permit test, only five will walk out with a permit in their hands (and we speak figuratively here, since the permit is actually mailed to you). There is one thing we never joke about, though, and that is the failure rates for the Nevada permit test. We can jape of many things: the lines at the DMV, the drivers handbook that looks like it was written in 1902 and some dumb driving laws that should have been deprecated and forgotten ages ago, like the law that forbids riding a camel on a highway (there is really a law that forbids that!).
